  John Dunn - Licensee of the No Good Damper, then built Dunns Hotel around 1847, later Squatter's Rest, Dandenong.
  Johannes Carl Charles Weist - Commonly known as Charles Weist. Born at Narre Warren around 1859.
  Dr. Alfred James Frost - Ran his medical practice from 65 Robinson Street, Dandenong, in 1920, or thereabouts.
  George Fenton Roulston - Roulston, along with his father, was instrumental in local journalism. He also wrote the Reminiscences of Dandenong series.
